Atebglas Cyf. was formed in April 2004 to provice a civil, structural and sustainable engineering design consultancy to clients in Mid, South and West Wales. Its guiding principle concerns the integration of architecture and engineering design, from conception to construction. Dr Davies has nearly 20 years experience in the design of traditional and innovative structures using a broad range of materials. He began his career with Ove Arup and PArtners Consulting Engineers in Cardiff and London, and later joined the School of Engineering at Cardiff University as a Lecturer and Researcher. Before forming Atebglas Cyf., Dr Davies was Technical Director of a fibre glass design and manufacturing company based in Bridgend.
